Dr. Hugh Charles Phillips
Dr Hugh Phillips is a cognitive psychologist and researcher who specializes in shopping behaviour and its application in terms of in-store marketing – display, store design, packaging etc. He was a professor at McGill, until this year when he started up his own company. He has published and broadcast widely on shopping behaviour and in-store marketing. He is regarded as the world expert on the cognitive psychology of communications in-store and increasingly his approaches are being accepted as industry standard. His clients include, Procter and Gamble, Diageo, Sobeys, Guinness and many other blue chip companies.
